Mermen at Slim's, Jan. 5, 2002
This is a posting referencing Archive.Org's Live Music Archive, the LlaMA. This one is a Mermen show that was recorded in their hometown with some extremely high-quality condenser mics placed on-stage. The Mermen are a psychedelic surf trio from San Francisco. This group is the brainchild of one Jim Thomas, a guitar genius. If you would like to preview this, please follow this link. It's in the same tradition as Dick Dale, but then goes off the rails from there.
